Master of Information & Professional Practicum
In 2012, I graduated from the MI program at the University of Toronto in the Archives and Records Management path.
I was lucky to take my professional practicum at the Royal Conservatory of Music Archives. At that time, I arranged and described photographs, music recordings, and other materials.
While a volunteer at the ArQuives, I worked on outreach, tours, and exhibits. Check out this photo of a World Pride exhibit at the Toronto Reference Library.
Public Broadcast Archiving
At TVO, I enjoyed being part of the digitization of legacy series such as Saturday Night at the Movies and The Education of Mike McManus. Also, I worked with a colleague to triage over 32,000 legacy films and videos in an off-site warehouse. Here we are celebrating the end of the project.
